Our date cookies bring together the smooth, sweet taste of dates on the inside with a buttery cookie on the outside, finished with a different topping on every flavour. What makes a date cookie different?
Most cookies get their sweetness from the dough. Ours get a lot of it from the middle. Each cookie is filled with dates for a soft, naturally sweet centre, then topped with chocolate, nuts or caramel. The result is a cookie that's buttery and crumbly on the outside, soft on the inside, with a little crunch on top. Every flavour is made in Canada.
Chocolate
The Chocolate Date Cookie is topped with Fair Trade Belgian dark chocolate. Rich chocolate on top, soft dates in the middle and a buttery cookie all around.
Pistachio
The Pistachio Date Cookie is topped with pistachios and rose water, a pairing you'll find in sweets across the Middle East. It's nutty, lightly floral and a little more elegant than your average cookie.
Walnut
The Walnut Date Cookie is topped with blended walnuts. Walnuts and dates are a classic combination, and this one keeps it simple and comforting.
Pecan Caramel
The Pecan Caramel Date Cookie is topped with pecan caramel to end with a bang. It's the most indulgent of the four, with buttery pecans and rich caramel over a soft date centre.
