When you buy dates or chocolate, you're trusting that what's inside the box was made with care. At Palm Bites, food safety and quality are at the core of everything we do. Here's a look at how your treats are made, the standards we follow and what they actually mean for you.
Made in our own facility
We don't hand our recipes to a factory overseas. Every Palm Bites product is made in our own facility in Mississauga, Ontario, from sourcing to production, packaging and shipping. Keeping everything under one roof means we can control quality at every step.
Our certifications and registrations

Third-party lab testing
We don't just check our own work. We conduct batch testing with independent third-party laboratories to verify the safety, purity and quality of our ingredients and finished products, including microbiological and analytical testing.
What happens behind the scenes
- Food safety first: strict protocols at every step to protect the people who enjoy our products.
- Traceability: we keep records from raw materials all the way through to finished products.
- Quality control: in-house quality checks happen throughout production.
- Trained professionals: our team is trained regularly on food safety and compliance best practices.
- Continuous improvement: we keep investing in our people, processes and systems to raise the bar every day.
Where it all starts
Good food starts with good ingredients. Our ingredients are ethically sourced from trusted farms, suppliers and distributors. You can learn more about how we source them, and the process it takes to get them to our facility, on our Sourcing page.
