Refund policy
If you are not 100% satisfied with your order, please contact us and we'll make it right. The only exception is if your order melts during transit, this is completely out of our control and we cannot offer a refund. Please keep the weather in mind when ordering and use your best judgment, you are ordering at your own risk.
Items in transit are not eligible for a refund, when you receive your package you can have it shipped back to us. Once your package is received back at our warehouse a refund will be processed for your order, please note that return shipping is at the expense of the customer and a $15 or 15% of order total restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
Will my order melt during shipping?
It is rare, but it does happen from time to time, especially during the summer. We do everything we can in order to avoid chocolate from melting during transit. During the summer and spring, we add ice packs and use insulated bags that are rated to withstand heat up to 82°C (180°F) for up to 5 days. Even with all of that, there is still a small chance your chocolate may melt during transit, especially if customs agents inspect your order and they do not return the package to its original state, or if it sits on your front porch for hours in the heat.
The good news is our chocolate is safe to place in the fridge and consume after it hardens again. If you are ordering chocolate in the summer, please keep this in mind as it is not our responsibility if your order arrives melted, you are ordering at your own risk. We do not offer refunds as these extreme circumstances are completely out of our control. If you live in a hot state, we recommend to order only during winter and fall. If you are in the GTA, we recommend you stop by our retail location.
