What is the shelf life?

The production date and best before date can be found on the back of every package. Here is a general guideline:

Chocolate Dates: 6 Months

Naked Dates: 6 Months

Date Cookies: 4 Weeks

Date Brownies: 6 Months

Date Squares: 6 Months

Date Bark: 1 Year

Energy Balls: 4 Months

Nut Butters4-12 Months

What is the difference between One Bite and Two Bite?

The One Bite is a Tunisian Deglet Noor Date, known to be small and firm, with a nutty sweet taste.

The Two bites are Palestinain Medjool dates, which are 2-4x larger than the One Bites, and are generally more juicy and have a caramel like taste.

How do I store my Palm Bites?

Palm Bites are best stored in a cool dry place, like your kitchen counter. No refrigeration required. If you wish, you can refrigerate or freeze your Palm Bites.

Will my chocolate melt during shipping?

It is rare, but it does happen from time to time, especially during the summer. We do everything we can in order to avoid chocolate from melting during transit. During the summer and spring, we add ice packs and use insulated bags that are rated to withstand heat up to 82°C (180°F) for up to 5 days. Even with all of that, there is still a small chance your chocolate may melt during transit, especially if customs agents inspect your order and they do not return the package to its original state, or if it sits on your front porch for hours in the heat.

The good news is our chocolate is safe to place in the fridge and consume after it hardens again. If you are ordering chocolate in the summer, please keep this in mind as it is not our responsibility if your order arrives melted, you are ordering at your own risk. We do not offer refunds as these extreme circumstances are completely out of our control. If you live in a hot state, we recommend to order only during winter and fall. If you are in the GTA, we recommend you stop by our retail location.

I made an order for pickup, when will it be ready?

You will receive an email when your order is ready for pick up. If there are any issues with your order we will contact you via phone or email. We recommend you leave your phone number for quick communication.

Can I include a message with my order?

When you are checking out, you can include your message in the box labelled "special delivery instructions or message to the recipient".

If you need to add a message after you've placed the order, email us at info@palmbites.ca with your order number and desired message. We'll do our best to get the message on your order prior to shipping.

Our goal is to ensure you have the best expierence possible. If you have any issues with your order, please contact us within 30 days of recieving your order, and we'll take all necessary steps to make it right.

All orders are usually processed and shipped within 2 business day of being received and take about 1-14 business days to arrive depending on the destination address.
